A genuine commitment—
—that is an integral part of how we do business

Sustainability is a fundamental choice that guides our strategy, shapes our decisions, and defines our growth model—a choice that has been part of who we are for a long time, even before the term “sustainability” came into common use. In 2023, we became a Benefit Corporation to underscore that we operate with the understanding that economic development must generate shared value, contributing to environmental protection, people’s well-being, and the vitality of the community in which we operate. For us, sustainability means responsibility, vision, and consistency, and recently (December 2025), this commitment was recognized with a national award—the Sustainability Award—confirming the alignment between our vision, concrete actions, and the results we have achieved.

For people

People are at the heart of our organization. We promote stability, professional growth, and an inclusive work environment based on respect, collaboration, and equal opportunity. We invest in safety, training, and organizational well-being, firmly believing that the quality of our work is the foundation of the quality of our results.

An Evolving Journey

We view sustainability as an ongoing journey. That is why we invest in innovation, training, and process improvement, with the goal of strengthening our positive contribution to the environment and society.

Regarding Governance

Sustainability is integrated into our governance system and decision-making processes. We operate in accordance with the principles of transparency, accountability, and regulatory compliance. We promote a supply chain based on collaboration, close ties to the local community, and shared values, while maintaining high quality standards.

For the Environment

Environmental responsibility is an integral part of our industrial process. We invest in energy efficiency, emissions reduction, and the use of energy from renewable sources. We embrace the principles of the circular economy by making the most of recycled materials and promoting resource recovery, with the goal of reducing waste and continuously improving our environmental performance.

Creating Value Over Time

We communicate and report on our commitment transparently, because we believe that sustainability is built on daily choices, responsibility, and consistency over time.

  • Reduction in energy consumption: Over the three-year period from 2022 to 2024, consumption of purchased electricity decreased by approximately 21%, thanks to efficiency improvements and rationalization measures
  • Decarbonization: The use of electricity from renewable sources and self-generation from solar photovoltaic systems are helping to bring Scope 2 market-based emissions ever closer to zero, with over 200 metric tons of CO₂ avoided
  • Fuel efficiency: Overall reduction in natural gas consumption (-29%) and diesel consumption (-13.6%) over the three-year period, confirming an improvement in operational and plant efficiency.
  • Responsible water management: a reduction in well withdrawals of approximately 20% over three years, with no water used in production processes
